The rain stopped just in time for the band to start playing, the tea and coffee to start flowing and the cakes to be consumed.

Two Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields were there to promote our group by showing the many maintenance and conservation events, and education sessions for children as well as to show visitors the beauty that lies within our local Nature Reserve.
Many people visited our stand and walked away with a better understanding of our group and a membership form in their hands.
