The Folly is the excavated area in the old ornamental gardens in the northern part of the Woods. It is a popular area used by a couple of children’s nurseries who come to the Woods every week for play and storytelling. They sit on cut sections of logs and today’s session was aimed at clearing and tidying the Folly, and moving the logs to benefit the children. We are grateful to our 9 volunteers of all ages who helped with this task.
